Between January and June 2015 we turned a large space in central Eastbourne into affordable artist studios. One of the studios was kept as a residency space. Alice Lunt was our artist in residence from March-May 2015, her working process was documented in a blog and will be kept as an archive of her time at Curious Projects. Her residency culminated in a well-attended exhibition.
We currently do not have any studio or residency spaces.
Interdisciplinary artist Alice Lunt has been selected to be our first artist in residence at Curious studios and we look forward to following the development of her work in the space.
Alice Lunt's work takes the form of site-specific installations and performances. She studied Sculpture at Brighton University (BA) and
Chelsea (MA).
Fin out more about her work:
"I like the idea that my thought process over the residency
period – the making and thinking – will become the exhibition
at the end of the residency, a physical manifestation of that
making/thinking process."
